Community Midwives
Midwives provide care before and after the birth of your baby, and may be seen by appointment at the Health Centre. You may telephone the midwives directly: Leighton 01270 612141 or Macclesfield 01625 661145/661153.
Community Nurses
Community nursing care is provided by the Congleton and Holmes Chapel District Nurses and CHOC Community Care Team. To contact a District Nurse please phone 0300 323 0223 to leave an answerphone message. This should include your name and contact details (and those of the patient if you are phoning on behalf of someone else) and a brief description of the reason for your call. Messages are checked regularly between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Friday, and 08:30 and 16:30 on weekends and Bank Holidays. If you need to contact a District Nurse after 16:30 please phone 01625 430906.
Health Visitors
Health Visitors offer specialist advice to children until they start school, including women during and after pregnancy. Contact with the Health Visitors is through the Health Centre main receptionist (telephone 01477 533100).
Attached Staff
Physiotherapists provide specialised treatment for all forms of orthopaedic problems, sports related injuries and other problems referred by a GP.
Counselling, dietary advice and speech therapy are available within the practice.
